The Avant Gardner is a wonderfully unique wedding venue in East Williamsburg. With three distinct venues, each with its own distinct style and outfitted with professional sound and lighting systems. Avant Gardner is ideal for couples searching for a one-of-a-kind Brooklyn wedding venue. This Mega-club is the epicenter of New York City entertainment. The 80,000 square foot venue complex occupies an entire city block of industrial East Williamsburg, containing a compound of stages and full-service event spaces.
Avant Gardner’s diverse calendar celebrates community and culture, offering an endless range of experiences highlighted by space’s unrivaled audio visual. The vast complex includes The Brooklyn Mirage, The Great Hall, The King’s Hall, and The Lost Circus. All serving as individual locales, or combined to make Avant Gardner the second-largest entertainment venue in Brooklyn.

The Brooklyn Mirage
The Brooklyn Mirage, an iconic outdoor courtyard and a green paradise in the heart of industrial Brooklyn, appears in May and disappears at September’s end. Here guests can escape the tedious city bustle to find respite amongst palm trees and thousands of tropical plants.
Attendees have whisked away to another world, yet reminded of their surroundings when they explore the two-story catwalk or ascend the four-story observation tower to witness spectacular views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. The courtyard boasts enough space to accommodate a fully seated dinner, as well as an unparalleled dance floor surrounded by 360-degree video projections, a full concert stage, and a top-notch PA system.

The Great Hall
The Great Hall is the quintessential Brooklyn industrial warehouse, that’s anything but. A massive and soaring space, its aesthetic is a mix between industrial chic and organic tech. The Avant Gardner largest indoor space.
The Great Hall can be transformed into an endless variety of styles and arrangements, all complemented by the high ceilings, exposed beams, and warehouse-party aesthetic of the space.

The King Hall
The Kings Hall is its intimate domain within the grand complex. During the day, natural light shines through the glass ceiling panels, filling the space with a brilliant visual effect perfect for ceremonies and cocktail hours.
As day turns to night, our world-class sound system and intricately designed lighting fixtures complete a dance floor that rivals that of the most acclaimed nightclubs.

About Avant Gardner
All of the spaces can be combined to give guests several unique environments in which to celebrate weddings, and each space can be used in a variety of different ways. Send us a message and we will put together a package that is perfect for you and your guests. Avant Gardner’s indoor arena boasts three different-sized rooms, each with unique accouterments that range from oversized chandeliers to stained glass and motorized rigs.
“This is a key element to the concept because it allows us to create a path for artists to grow in the market as their careers thrive and their fanbases expand,” says head of programming, Kenny Schachter. “Artists that play the King’s Hall often come back the following year and play the Great Hall, and continue growing toward our largest stage, The Brooklyn Mirage.”
The latter boasts immersive 360-degree visuals, which are cast against winding staircases and balconies. Thus the exteriors of Avant Gardner bear the visage of a palace — a stark contrast to the structure’s blue-collar beginnings.
